Good, but not great. I have never been a fan of medieval fantasy games as a rule, and my experience basically consists of Dragon Age Origins,Good, but not great. I have never been a fan of medieval fantasy games as a rule, and my experience basically consists of Dragon Age Origins, which I liked.There is a lot of care into the story of this game (and it pays off immensely), but some technological aspects were overlooked and they reused things and because of that, I cannot give it a perfect score.I have to say it has pacing issues, and I did not enjoy the hunt to find Ciri in the beginning of the game, it is after Ciri is back that the game is fleshed out and gets interesting.

You often just slow down and listen to people chatting, nature humming and music casting its spell. Combat is fast paced, tactical, challenging and satisfying, yet it could be even more challenging for my personal preference (like in Dark Souls 3) because even on the hardest possible difficulty I fare quite well and don't die all that often.This is one of those gems that doesn't let you quit playing like the best book or your favourite TV series. If you haven't played this one you have to buy if with all the expansions and let it take you on a breathtaking journey to Sapkowski's amazing world. The best adventure of your life guaranteed. Trust me: buy it :)

I would gladly hand the game a 100 and call it game of the forever, but slow plot movement, a quest where Geralt walked over an edge to his death, and a variety of other nitpicks and time sinks makes me have to say that this game isn't anywhere to perfect - legendary, in its own right, memorable, but it's not perfect.

Given that the game already has too much content in its vanilla release, it's more refinement that I'd like to see now—and to be fair, few developers offer post release support like CD Projekt Red do. In this massive adventure the good largely outweighs the bad, but it's a shame that they're so closely intertwined from start to finish.

The conclusion of Geralt’s game saga couldn’t be better. The large open world, great storytelling and dozens of hours of pure fun – this game is an absolute must for every RPG fan.

Discard any concerns you have about graphic downgrade, the game is stunningly beautiful and with a GTX 970 I'm running a solid 60 FPS at 1080p, granted the hairworks hit the frame rates down to 40-50, but it's not really a game changer. The game is well optimized and run great considering how big the world is and the landscape, lightning and faces details are gorgeous. As for the gameplay, it's head and shoulders above Witcher 2, very pleased especially about how smooth the combat is, and the story is so damn immersive that I have to cut this review short and get back to it. So many things to do in a truly grandiose open world grander than anything you've seen before.
