I thought I was getting all of the features that come with other versions of this game, such as the Nintendo Switch version. Unfortunately this game lacks a lot of content, with there being only one living board and no unlockable tokens. Additionally, I already own a version of Monopoly that is far more fun than this.

I'll keep this short and sweet.- Can't splitscreen and play online with other people at the same time.- Can hardly finish a game without it crashing. Literally, I've played in 30+ games and finished three. Not bad enough? Games are usually 1-3 hours long depending how many people cheat and give everything away (see below). This is not my connection. It's confirmed.- Many opponents are childish and immature. Winning? Good luck with that, as soon as people start landing on your hotels they'll start trading everything they own to someone else instead of paying up just because they're mad that you're winning. Yep, Ubi lets people trade 3000 worth of stuff for free. I've experienced this in every single game. This is assuming you actually get to play that far without it crashing or the host leaving.- No dedicated servers. This means you have to hope and pray whoever the host is doesn't leave or lose connection for any reason, or goodbye 2+ hours of your life.- Bad timers. AFK person? Have fun waiting because it'll be a while.- Can't see how many people are in lobby while searching for games. Meaning you'll be waiting a while for people to join because no one has any clue how many people are in a lobby and scatter all over 10 different hosted matches.- There are more but I can't think of them. Just don't buy it, trust me.

As long as you don't go into this game expecting anything but the tried and true classic game of Monopoly you won't be disappointed. A classic game of Monopoly is exactly what you'll get, but with that said it's definitely a recreation that captures the enjoyment of the original very well. The developers have done a great job of making the Monopoly board come to life with a dynamic city and a meticulous amount of detail put into every individual property.Don't let the "Plus" in Monopoly Plus deceive you however, there really isn't anything aside from the regular game here unless you purchase additional packs. As with the original board game, the true excitement of Monopoly comes from the people that you play with. The AI can be rather easily taken advantage of through the trading system, even on some of the higher difficulty levels, and the fact that not all of their in-game actions can be skipped may soon become a source of frustration. Playing this game with other humans is obviously where this game shines as it remains loyal to its Monopoly roots without the need for any gimmicks. I recommend this game not only for any Monopoly lovers who want a faithful console rendition to avoid the hassle of having to set up the physical board game but also for anyone who is just simply looking for a great local multiplayer experience.

You can choose to hot seat one joystick, or let each player have their own. It also allows you to play online. It has classic rules, and you can choose between 6 "house rules" (one per game). Like fees go to someone landing on "free parking". The game also has several difficulty settings for the AI (each AI can have a different difficulty rating). You can have as many AI opponents as you want. There is a classic 2D board and a 3D living board. The living board just has a city around it and some decent animations (like a "mouse trap" cage when someone is in jail). You can also save 3 different games. There is a "classic" version and a speed version. I haven't tried the speed version.It's also very nice the game has only 32 houses and 12 hotels. So hotel blocking strategies can be employed. I imagine it has limited amounts of cash in the bank (like the board game), but I have not got to test that yet.It has a couple of annoyances. Like the guys voice (I turn it off). It asks which language you want every time. Local co-op only seems to use the person logged in nick, other human players are player 2 etc. (but at least AI has names). It can ask for your Ubisoft login every time. You have to set login for each nick. They added a cat token, which is great for cat lovers. But for some reason the iron seems to be out?
