Lords of the Black Sun è un gioco di strategia 4X per PC epico, complesso, denso e a turni, ambientato nello spazio profondo.
Prendete il comando di una razza per unirvi alla lotta per la supremazia nella galassia. Come leader del vostro impero avrete il compito di esplorare le stelle, colonizzare nuovi mondi, gestire il vostro impero e conquistare chiunque osi opporsi a voi.
La galassia è piena di segreti e pericoli: Scopri antiche rovine e manufatti, respingi o fai amicizia con i pirati, promuovi un generale per guidare le tue flotte alla vittoria. Concepisci trame complesse con i tuoi alleati o usa i tuoi servizi segreti per scoprire i punti deboli di quell'impero minaccioso il cui leader ha giurato di distruggerti.
Assicurati di mantenere la tua popolazione felice o preparati ad affrontare le proteste contro il tuo governo o, nel peggiore dei casi, le fazioni ribelli all'interno del tuo impero.
Solo i governanti più potenti possono prevalere nelle profondità dello spazio. Sei all'altezza del compito di diventare un Signore del Sole Nero?

There is no point in spending time and money on Lords of the Black Sun. It’s not that bad, but there are much better alternatives available now.
Its not very good, there are some parts which are interesting like 'threatening' during dipolmacy, or empire wide industry, but on the wholeIts not very good, there are some parts which are interesting like 'threatening' during dipolmacy, or empire wide industry, but on the whole everything is subpar, and the game is in alpha-quality despite being released. I even like these type of games.
I love 4x turn based strategies. But this one is simply bad.There are very few things that one could compliment the game for. Probably theI love 4x turn based strategies. Probably the most interesting is concept of political speeches, and empire polices; such as slavery, child labor, social benefits etc. Every other aspect of the game (colony management, research, combat, general user interface friendliness etc…) is completely lacking. The game play as a whole is to micromanagement demanding, and quite frankly simply boring.5/10
