After the first wave the connection broke from dont know where and the game crashed. If I try to browse the lobby the game freezes and I have to delete the process in another desktop. So after a completely wasted hour I delete the game and never will get back to it. Wasted money.

The unreal engine used here is awesome and addicting. Its what makes players wanting to play. Feels just very nice and satisfying. The game mixes elements between Fear and Left 4 dead. it gets fear right from the slow motion mechanic and even some maps. It feels like a improved left 4 dead to the point i dont think i can go back to play that game because switching back to outdated mechanics itll just make me want to play this instead. In l4d you dont feel the power of the weapons. In kf2 not only can you see but the kickback on the guns feels like you are doing a lot of real damage on zeds. As of now there are 21 maps and 15 characters. More updates and events are added to make the game a little long lasting. You do burnout if you play for too long. The music is amazing and always gets me and my girlfriend excited to play. There are a variety of zombies in different ways of handling them. You cant simply expect one type of gun to do damage. The game puts players to experiment what guns will they stick with and use. I became a survivalist because it is round balanced and had sticked to the mac 10, m4 shotgun and the m16 assult rifle/gernade launcher. So the gameplay is almost flawless for a zombie experience alone only. People are more bugged about the game not having some single player story. You basically make it your own. With so much happening in the game with 100 zombies and a lot of blood that doesnt disappear throughout the entire game and developers adding a cool gore system the fps stays at 60 regardless. If you shoot a zombie in the head a piece of it comes off weakining it but still walks until more pieces of it come off and it dies. Its fun shooting stalkers in the face and watching that groovy motion capture of a headless stalker trying to get at you which looks pretty realstic in the way she moves around headless. Since the game was developed by such a small team (less than 10) we need to give it the credit it deserves. This cant compare to the zombies of cod its more fast pace/gorey/intense. The only downside is playing it too much. You may want to stop once in a while before the game just becomes the same and the same like any other game. While Call of Duty’s Nazi Zombies was a nice distraction, I found it lacking the depth and staying power that the predecessor offered. Out of nowhere, Killing Floor 2 has come along and almost made me forget Left 4 Dead was even a thing.While there isn’t much of a story, the game revolves around a virus that struck a European nation and decimated the population, turning the inhabitants into various forms of the undead. While there are a nice variety of enemies, they all seem to be thrown together from other games or films that clearly inspired the various locales throughout the game. You’ll face spider zombies, cybernetic enemies similar to Doom, gigantic slow moving bullet sponges with machetes and a number of others. While they are not complete rip-offs of the enemies they are inspired by and do come off as visually stunning, I feel like they would have been more effective if the specific enemies you faced matched the different locations you explore, opposed to just being strewn about haphazardly. It’s not that this is a bad thing; it just comes off as a missed opportunity and random at times.Visually, the game is stunning. The enemies show an amazing level of detail and even more so when you blow them to bits using the vast arsenal at your disposal. Each level features the same level of detail and always feels like something is around the corner, ready to sink its teeth into you if you’re not paying full attention to your surroundings. The game boasts a large selection of levels from abandoned farm houses to run down carnivals. Each can be completed in any order either solo, with a group of friends, via matchmaking, or in a PVP mode. While taking on the undead solo, most players will struggle, so grouping up is recommended. Sadly, the PVP lobby appears to be dead at launch on the Xbox One, so I was unable to partake in any of the matches for review purposes.The gameplay is not in the style of going from point A to point B, killing waves of zombies on the way; it’s more akin to a very large version of hoard mode from Gears of War. After each wave you will be directed to a hub that allows you to purchase better weapons, armor and grenades using funds you’ll earn from defeating the undead. Similar to counter strike, you will be limited to the number of guns you can carry at one time by a point system. There is a class system which gives the player certain bonuses for using certain guns or playstyles; better yet, you are not limited to the weapons offered to your class. This adds an extra layer of depth and promotes experimentation. During my time with the game, I stuck with the commando class, but often supplemented my class’ guns with shotguns or flamethrowers from the other classes.Each level does feature collectibles if that is your thing. While they do not add anything to the game other than the corresponding achievement or trophy reward, they do give you something to do between waves. While you are given a fair amount of time between waves to find the hub to upgrade your items, it was often too much time with no option to skip ahead into the next wave. You are given the option of completing a game in 4, 7 or 10 waves, with a final boss fight at the end. This countdown can lead to the 10 wave game taking a lot longer than needed. Additionally, the boss fight at the end of each match can become repetitive, due to the lack of bosses (there are only 2 at launch). While not varied, these are intense battles, and if you and your team are not able to take the boss down quick enough, he will run off to heal and return with a slightly smaller health bar than before.While not overly original or deep, Killing Floor 2 offers a great deal of co-op fun if you’re looking for something to take the place of Left 4 Dead since we won’t be getting a third. While it does run the risk of becoming repetitive and definitely isn’t for everyone, I found it to be an extremely enjoyable experience and would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of wave based combat. The recent Xbox One release is a steal and offers hours of entertainment, as it contains all of the paid expansions for the PlayStation 4 and PC versions included in the $40 price point, and has an Xbox One X visual update on the way.

The game naturally encourages everyone to stick together in large or small groups, watching each other's backs and using class abilities to help the team. The 15 levels are all excellent and memorable (despite the lack of environmental interactivity), providing the sense of variety that the bosses do not. With tons of classes to level and weapons to wield, Killing Floor 2 has some serious staying power. Tripwire has announced Xbox One X enhancements, too, which will keep the game going even longer.

Killing Floor 2 is a lot of mindless fun. I say mindless, but it really does take some strategy to be successful. That’s what makes it the most fun. The only thing I must warn people about is the fact that if you’re thinking of going into this game solo, it’s going to be an uphill battle that will quickly get old. This game is best experienced in co-op with some friends. Even if you don’t have friends to play with, the game’s matchmaking system is strong and works well and people are generally decent to play with. People looking for some co-op fun will find a great time here and I believe it is well worth the price.

When I first started up Killing Floor 2 I had no idea what to expect. The game looked like a very grim, zombie-killing game. What it actually was - a ridiculously impressive and immersive strategy game… that was very grim. There are a few technicalities, but overall there is nothing out there that gives you such a feeling of fight-or-flight – while at the same time – giving you a giant adrenaline rush from decimating mass amounts of baddies. And I can tell you after some 25 hours… it doesn’t go away.

Blood, zombies and a lot of adrenaline waits us in Killing Floor 2, a game that fans of cooperative modes will love. The game delivers a frenetic proposal that will offer many and many hours of fun.

After signing up on Tripwire, I can't post anything because after an hour I still do not have the confirmation email. This is the worst experience with a game i have ever had. According to the terms and conditions as well as consumer rights in the United States, Tripwire has not delivered on the promised product. I will be looking for the means to get a refund. I don't care about the policy. I will take them to small claims court.Avoid this game AT ALL COSTS.It is way overpriced to begin with and then you can never play it.

There are quite a few maps with awesome graphics; the controls were well thought out and intuitive. The core gameplay is some of the most fun I've had in an online wave based shooter. It's also one of the few games where you can play with 5 other players against the game. The downsides is the game can get repetitive and boring over time since there is not much variety in the modes. It's a shame because I feel like it could rise to be one of the best games out there if it had more variety of content.

The maps are all-round well designed and are not very repetitive, since there's a voting system at the end of the game. Another nice thing about KF2 is there's new free maps and other goodies, like weapons getting added every few months. I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun co-op zombie horde slaying game. This game pretty much blows any other wave based zombie FPS out of the water and is quite a satisfying game.This said the only bad thing i can say about KF2 is that the 2 bosses that appear on the final wave of each match do get quite boring after fighting them a few dozen times, but new bosses may be added in future updates. This game gets a prestigious 10/10 from me.

There are not many games as cruel and bloody as Killing Floor 2. Taking down waves of huge monsters was never as satisfying as in Killing Floor 2, but the gameplay is not as solid as it should be.

For the first few hours KF2 really holds your attention with dynamic gameplay and constant gore-fest. But soon it turns stale, as there’s only one mode (plus a variation of it in which other players can join as monsters), there’s only so many types of enemies, plus, maps don’t offer sufficient variety. So every battle basically follows the same scenario. If Killing Floor 2 was a cheap indie game, it would’ve been forgivable, but at $30 price point players really have a right to expect more.

Killing Floor 2 is a joy to play and while it is made far better with friends, it does fail to deliver a worthwhile single player experience. Call up your squad of friends however, and Killing Floor 2 is a masterpiece of chaos as you cut your way through wave after wave of the toughest zeds as they struggle to overwhelm you. Killing Floor 2 is a bloody mess, and it’s a bloody good one too.

Tripwire Interactive brings the FPS back to its most primal level, creating a ludicrous arcade-style bloodbath in an era of deeper, more thoughtful narrative-driven shooters. That approach ultimately proves to be refreshing; while more variety would have pushed the game over the top into "truly great" territory, what Killing Floor 2 does offer is undeniably visceral entertainment. And while the wave-based action is plenty of fun on its own, the perks system kept me coming back to upgrade my character and face even deadlier threats.

While Killing Floor 2 doesn’t offer a lot of content, especially compared to many other multiplayer shooters out this year, at the end of the day, it’s still fun to shoot some Zeds with your friends. If you’re really looking for some quick, challenging multiplayer action, Killing Floor 2’s a pretty good place to start.

While pretty light on new features (particularly ones that could have contributed to its co-operative nature), Killing Floor 2 is still an unrelenting deluge of mindless, entertaining violence.

Taking a shallow sub-mode from other games, and presenting it in a no-frills manner, might make for a competent and reliable shooter, But Killing Floor 2 also fails to be anything more than a diversion from other, better shooters as a result. It's utterly useless in singleplayer, and for multiplayer hijinks there are more creative examples out there.

Though the 12 maps will become very well-known after spending hours in the game and repetition overall will start to creep in with players, some much sooner than others. It’s a small issue though in my eyes as the core gameplay here feels and looks great and it’s a game that can be enjoyed online with friends and the online community. The harder the difficulty and more waves adding, the crazier it gets. Players looking for a great arcade online shooting experience really need to look no further. Killing Floor 2 is here to please.

This game is just about flawless. 60 FPS even when there is chaos on screen, great variety of weapons to choose from, good number of maps, awesome gore, a variety of enemies to kill, you can play as the monsters and the periodic slow-mo shots are pretty cool. This game is like a spiritual successor to Left for Dead 2. This is the game Evolve should have been. I will be playing this game for a long time. If you like Horde mode type games, pick this up immediately.
