Riassunto
Un sequel, sidequel e prequel di Hotline Miami (2012) con sbloccabili simili, un gameplay violento dall'alto e un'estetica elettronica moderna della Miami degli anni '80, Hotline Miami 2 segue più fazioni legate agli eventi del gioco originale mentre commettono atti sempre più sanguinosi e surreali. Una maggiore enfasi è posta sulla narrazione, e sui confini tra violenza reale e fittizia.
Storyline
Conclusione brutale della saga macabra, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number segue l'escalation di violenza attraverso fazioni multiple nate dagli eventi del gioco originale e guidate da motivazioni incerte. Entra nella mente omicida di diversi personaggi distinti - ognuno con le proprie motivazioni e metodi di esecuzione - mentre le trame si intersecano e la realtà scivola via in una foschia di neon e carneficine. Combattimenti accecanti, uno stile visivo inconfondibile e una colonna sonora potentemente intensa ti spingeranno ancora una volta al limite e a mettere in discussione la tua sete di sangue.

It’s not that I regret those couple of hours I spent with Wrong Number, but for every advantage there’s a drawback, for every ‘I had fun’ there’s a ‘but’ and for every ‘wow!’ there’s a ‘meh’.
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is a great sequel. It innovates just enough to feel fresh but, unfortunately, takes a bit of player freedom away through its fixed characters.
