Riassunto
Heave Ho impegna fino a quattro giocatori con un semplice obiettivo: non cadere verso la morte! I giocatori useranno le proprie mani e la presa tesa dei loro amici per aggrapparsi ad ogni livello sulla via della vittoria. Afferrate le mani l'uno dell'altro, arrampicatevi sui corpi penzolanti e fate oscillare i vostri amici fino alla salvezza in una massa traballante e penzolante di arti. Personalizza il tuo personaggio con tutti i tipi di accessori alla moda e accorgimenti bizzarri nel vano tentativo di ricordare chi sei e quale delle tue mani è l'unica cosa tra te e il precipitare del destino.
Trama
Afferra le mani degli altri, arrampicati sui corpi penzolanti e porta in salvo i tuoi amici in una massa di arti traballanti e penzolanti. The game works great not only during parties but also on lazy family saturdays. To hook me to the screen for longer though, Heave Ho’s levels would have to feature more changing and unpredictable environments because occasional minigames are just not enough.
You could say that Heave Ho is somewhat visually unappealing, as the scenery and characters have a grainy 1920’s style cinematic look to them (albeit in colour). But this is clearly as intended and works well within the humorous nature of the game. There are birds that fly past and cover you in poop if you’re taking too long, and a llama that walks past and farts, filling the area with a dark fog. Even when players fall to their deaths, an explosion of paint covers their comrades. Heave Ho is a game that doesn’t take itself seriously, and should be played as such, particularly with a group of friends.
Heave-Ho is a very good party game that's most enjoyed with 3 or 4 players, and which offers a lot of fun. The downside is that the fun goes down with the number of players, being quite boring when you're alone.
Simple, but challenging, tough, but fair, Heave Ho is just what you look for in an enjoyable puzzle-platformer. Whether you want to challenge yourself, or put your friendships to the test, you'll have a good time with Heave Ho.
If you like local co-op games and own either a Nintendo Switch or a PC, Heave Ho should be considered absolutely essential. It really is one of the best local co-op games available
