The same lame tuning, A low number of body customizing options, now show stuff like extreme stancing and the same livery editor as in fh4. BUTTHE BIGGEST ISSUE I HAVE WITH IT: Is the absolutely unplayable online connection. The carlist loads terribly long (up to 60 seconds) and game nearly hangs itself up while loading. It's nearly impossible to play online with your friends for more than an hour. Most of the time your connection to the server just disconnect and you get stuck in a flattering camera unable to drive. This game is out for 5 months now and it still have 1.0ish issues. That fact that Playground Games act like the made the best racing game in the time changed my rating to 4. Arrogant user handling and an always sunny monthly stream where problems like this don't get discussed.

I have 16 GB of RAM in my PC, which meets the recommended requirements.Given that it released over two months ago, and the PC version still isn't really playable, I've given up on the game.

The graphics, lighting and weather effects are some of the best we've seen in a racing game, but of course it's all about the cars. Although this is an arcade racer that does not focus on realism but rather on short and fast action, the cars behave truthfully and react differently whether you are driving on a track, on the street or off road. The controls have been kept simple, making the game accessible to just about anyone. Altogether, this makes Forza Horizon 5 the most fun racing game of the moment.

And on the XBSX or a PC with an SSD, the game loads fast, allowing you to do things like quickly switch cars that are best suited for the biome you're driving through. Even though I have game pass, I still bought a hard copy because the developers deserve it.

You can just slap on the best modifications to boost your stats but that doesn't mean you're going to keep it on the track, let alone win the race. You can do that and get away with it for the most part on some cars, but if you want to top leader boards, you need fine-tuning.Despite being review bombed because of launch technical issue for some people. I've had 1 issue, solved it by turning off my power management program, EVGA precision. No problems since.The game has a wide variety of cars that you can either buy or win in a slot machine-type game. You can get some pretty amazing cars from the start. If the idea of a game to you is to have the fastest car that can smoke anything on normal difficulty, this game isn't for you. If you like collecting and racing, trying to 100% a large map with tons of content. If you like trying out different cars to see which one suits you, instead of chasing stat scores, then this game is for you.

Whether you're a car fanatic or not, playing this with your friends will be a well-spent time and there aren't many skills required to understand this game. Fairly easy racer, yet very entertaining. The studio has undoubtedly succeeded this year again, with frequent post-launch updates and free content likely to come regularly, you will always find a reason to come back and play this game.

While Forza Horizon 5 launches with a score of "only" 9.0, it has potential for even more. All Playground Games have to do is to eliminate bugs and bring back some missing cars, which could be done in a few months, with several updates. What about a perfect 10/10? It would require a multitude of further improvements to AI and physics. But perhaps Forza Horizon 6 will achieve that. I surely hope so, as this would give us the perfect racing game.

Forza Horizon 5 is yet another step up for the series and arguably the best racing game ever made. Offering a host of content across a fantastic representation of Mexico, its varied terrain and scenery, there's so much to explore and race. A massive roster of cars will perform all of these, each feeling different from the others, with a variety of upgrade and tuning options almost matching those of simulation titles. While there are a few minor niggles here and there, they are nearly so small as to be hardly worth mentioning. All in all, it's impossible not to recommend this for anybody, regardless of them being a fan of racing games or not, as this is that good.

Especially since Mexico in this episode offers undoubtedly the best map of the series, with an amazing variety of biomes and an attention to detail that borders on respect, especially on such a massive playing surface. FH5 is a title that manages to do everything it does with its hands in its pockets. Its also one of the most beautiful games of the current generation.
