Trama
Il mondo è afflitto da una misteriosa malattia nota come "Enigma".
Chester, contagiato da questa malattia, si ritrova spiaggiato su un'isola solitaria, Carlyle.
Mentre la ragazza che lo ha curato e riportato alla salute gli fa fare un giro dell'isola, Chester sente che qualcosa non va.
Non ci sono medici dalla terraferma. Non solo non ci sono informazioni sul mondo esterno, ma gli abitanti sembrano del tutto ignari dell'epidemia mondiale.
---È come se questo luogo fosse stato completamente rimosso dal resto del mondo.
Dopo un po', Chester trova una vistosa foresta bianca in mezzo a una distesa verde.
"Quella foresta divora le persone. Questo è ciò che credo".
Il nome della foresta è Enigma.
Lo stesso della malattia che sta consumando il suo corpo.

The art was fairly pleasant and vividly detailed. I enjoyed looking at the scenery and characters as they were drawn well. But with the horribly painful interactions and long drawn out scenes of nothing that I had to force myself to get through, the art just didn’t make up for it.

There’s a premise with a lot of potential in enigma, but it’s squandered on cliche characters, uneven pacing, and rough localisation.

ENIGMA: is a surprising visual novel in how well it brings together humor, mystery and drama. It takes skillful writing to make this work as well as it does here.
