It's a great environment, the controls are fluid, and the story is satisfying. It's a great game overall, and I cannot think of any cons, really. Worth every penny.

On the second attempt, I tried to be stealthy without killing anyone and it felt like a different game. You even get to choose it you play with superpowers or without.The story is simple: you are on a vendetta and kill everyone who did you harm. What really bugged me: the city has something uncomfortable. Somehow its really ugly, but it fits the plot.Nevertheless, it was a surprise gem for me which I really enjoyed.

Dishonored 2 is a great game for those who never played the first game and for returning gamers who enjoyed Dishonored. Its challenging gameplay, collectibles and the ability to experience the game’s story from two different points of view are more than enough to keep you interested.

As a story, it may well be lacking, but as a collection of expertly crafted play spaces where design and mechanics reinforce and respond to your agency in myriad delightful and engaging ways, Dishonored 2 is pure magic.

Dishonored 2 is an amazing game. Played entirely in first-person, the freedom it bestows players closely resembles that of the Elder Scrolls games. Although the game is broken up into distinct levels rather than an open world, each chapter is huge and filled with atmosphere, detail, and myriad nooks and crannies to explore. The Empire really feels like a believable steampunk world, one with countless stories to tell.

The stealth action is the best there has ever been in a game, but that is what the game is all about so you have to be in the mood for that kind of thing. The level design is amazing, keeping the game interesting at every turn. Aside from some embarrassing bugs with the PC version that they are struggling with, this game is the best single-player release of 2016.

I have noticed considerable framerate inconsistencies when trying to get around a level quickly or when using the spyglass to zoom. I feel as though I should mention these issues, but they didn’t detract from my experience of the game. I’m still in love with the level design and I still think the ability system favors the use of one or two abilities.

Feels like a tiresome retread – enjoyable enough when it sticks to the old script, but frustrating in its disappointment when it does attempt anything new. With a rushed story, colorless characters, and total misuse of a whole new playable character, the best I can say is that I didn’t hate it. I didn’t particularly like it, but I didn’t hate it. Dishonored deserves more than that.

Dishonored 2 is a fantastic game. It may, in fact, be the best game you really shouldn’t risk buying right now, because right now it’s a technical mess. Yes, I hope a patch comes out soon which fixes a lot of these issues – but yes, I’m also worried that a lot of this is baked into the new Void Engine, and if that’s the case… well, this might be something to look into in a year or two. I’ll keep you updated, but for now, a definite “buyer beware” on an otherwise phenomenal game.

Dishonored 2 tries to take on so much that it can't actually keep up with itself, even on PC. If Arkane can get a handle on the optimization and delivers a DLC campaign that's on par with the original's take on Daud, it'll be one of the easiest recommendations I've made all year.

Any given playthrough will present you with myriad chances to both create and react to opportunities, many of which appear with little to no warning. It's in surviving these situations (preferably undetected) where Dishonored 2 delivers its most tangible rushes and most profound sense of gratification. It's a tale of vengeance that's presented in an imaginatively conceived world, one that is as threatening as it is inviting.

Graphics are probably worse than many Triple A games such as like Deus Ex, Witcher or MGS but they obviously are not the worst and I didn't have any problems with Dishonored 2's visuals (except some animation problems) or I haven't faced with any bugs yet.The worst thing about the game is probably the ending and differences between Emily and Corvo (at least for me.) Dishonored's endings were astonishing and touching even the High Chaos one but in Dishonored 2 story and characters are still ok but endings are not. Both of Low and High Chaos endings felt lame to me at the first sight. In fact Emily Kaldwin and Corvo Attano are pretty same.
