Riassunto
Battle Academy è un gioco di strategia tattica ricco di azione in cui dovrete prendere il comando di un gruppo selezionato di unità e guidarle nelle battaglie sui diversi fronti della Seconda Guerra Mondiale. In qualità di comandante, dovrete impiegare tattiche di combattimento reali per assicurarvi la vittoria. Ciò significa che dovrete tendere imboscate per sorprendere le forze avversarie, usare il fuoco di soppressione per bloccarle, affiancare i blindati ostili per ottenere il massimo effetto e, se necessario, assaltare il nemico per eliminare i punti di forza. In alcuni casi avrete anche accesso a potenti artiglierie e supporti aerei fuori mappa, in grado di indebolire le difese nemiche o addirittura di fermare un attacco nemico sul nascere. Allo stesso tempo, dovrete prestare molta attenzione al morale delle vostre truppe e utilizzare le unità di ricognizione per individuare eventuali imboscate ostili o attacchi laterali.

Overall, it just feels too casual, too cartoony. On a tablet that can be forgiven, but as a PC game it seems more than a little limiting.

I also liked the comic book storytelling in between missions.

At last a game that teaches you strategy while steadily amping up the difficulty level. The graphics are surprisingly detailed yet fun at the same time. There is a huge variety of missions especially if you get the complete pack. There is enough complexity to also keep more experienced wargamers interested. I was really surprised at how good this game is. My only negative would be the rather steep price especially for the complete game, given the fact that for all intents and purposes it is a souped up Ipad port. However it is done really well and if you are willing to shell out you won't be disappointed and are in for hours of replayable fun!
