The Ancient Greece of the game is very faithful, with MANY historical sites and statues, the game provides a very unique experience of visiting these places that today are only ruins and gives you texts about the history of these places. The story is very good, but a little cliché. The equipment system is very addictive, you always want to see a new armor at the beginning of the game, each piece of armor changes the look of the character. The equipment has a minimum level to be equipped. If your weapon or armor is at a much lower level than yours, you can go to the blacksmith to improve that item, or carve it to give it some extra skill.Stealth is in the game, however, you can only stealthily assassinate an enemy if it is at most two levels higher than yours. Each mission has a recommended level, and often, especially at the end of the game (the player is hyped to see the outcome of the story) the level of the mission can be more than TEN more than yours, forcing you to spend a lot of time doing side missions and grinding, unless you buy armor, weapons, xp, resources, crew for the ship, and other things with your real money. Practically all the customization items on the boat, like sailing, decorations on the ship's tip and crew skin, skins for the horse, are paid, which would be much better to release more of these items on missions.The story of the game is about before the assassins exist, it is about the origin of the Templars, which was because of disagreement with the Templars that the Order of Assassins was created, so that is why the game does not focus so much on stealth

It was pretty good game but firstly ending not what i expected it was so bad and the quests is so empty i was bored when i did quests for lvl grind

The latest addition to the Assassin's Creed franchise is truly a wonder and a fresh take on a stale idea. The excellent execution, gameplay and story is only overshadowed by greedy micro transactions, paid XP and awful optimization.

An excellent and beautiful game from ancient Greece. Maybe it’s very different from the first game, however this evolution benefits the brand.

While AC: Origins was packed with interesting stories, Odyssey is a generic ’Ubisoft sandbox’ in the worst sense, with hundreds of the same-looking places, dozens of ”kill-fetch” quests and almost zero motivation to grind further.

As expected, Odyssey is basically Origins 2.0, bigger and better in almost every regard, from leveling options to wide open world with procedurally-generated mercenaries to keep you entertained for hours and hours.

Despite my few complaints, Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey truly is an incredibly entertaining game that proves Origins was no fluke. I’m back on the hype train, baby, and I can’t wait to see where the next stop is (even if I wish it’d rest at the same station for another year or two). No longer a simple stealth game, but instead a massive, detailed, sprawling roleplaying game, Odyssey just might be one of my favorite games of 2018 so far.

Undoubtedly, AC: Odyssey as a game has quite a few issues: bad AI, the strangulation of the player with hundreds of missions and missed opportunities on the RPG level. But it does something also very important: it includes a huge and impressive world, capturing successfully the Ancient Greece aesthetic and it manages to be truly entertaining and unimaginably addictive.

Odyssey puts player freedom front and centre in a way the games never have before, while also taking in perhaps the most fun and gorgeous location we've seen so far.

It has it's moments, it's a beautiful looking game, and it improves upon what Origins began, but it is a HARD grind at times. There are times where the game will stop being fun and just feel like work. The story is interesting, but the Ubisoft has long since foregone weaving engaging narratives. All in all, it's not a bad game, but like Black Flag, it's not an Assassin's Creed game, and it's RPG elements and grindy gameplay may turn many off.

If you love the Assassin’s Creed games then this is one of the best, even though it’s not a million miles away from the stunning Origins.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is a superb open world RPG. It can be a little rough around the edges, but there's a gameplay freedom to this particular adventure that's really a cut above what the series has attempted previously. With a gameplay loop that simply never stops giving, Ubisoft's recreation of ancient Greece is an amazing achievement, and in some ways, a genuine step forward for open world game design.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey comes close to be the best title of the series to date, with a much-improved narrative design, an interesting main storyline and an overhauled gameplay inherited from last year’s Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey becomes one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Its history involves from beginning to end and the recreation of Ancient Greece is simply sublime. Its mechanics are the result of everything learned in previous chapters and achieve an immersive gameplay. If you are a fan of the saga and you like RPG games, Assassin´s Creed Odyssey is an essential on your bookshelf.

With Odyssey, Ubisoft has crafted the biggest Assassin's Creed to date. A colossal open world, action RPG, that can go toe to toe with the biggest names in the genre. If you're a fan of this kind of game, don't miss it.

Assassin's Creed: Odyssey builds on everything good Origins introduced, but with a bit lower quality stories and adding some new systems that end up being not so impressive. Overall, though, it's still a very solid open world game with lots of content and some very gorgeous visuals. It won't amaze you as Origins did, but it'll still provide tens of hours of quality play.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey throws so much stuff at you, it's difficult to sift through it all. It's a beautiful game to look at and the story is intriguing, but it feels like a game that could have been a little more ambitious if given more time to develop. There's good ideas, from the branching story and character choice to the return of ship-based combat, but its ambitions also fray around the edges in a way that Origins didn’t.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey features a rich, lush world lessened by its repetitive activities. Though the main story is compelling, completing it requires you to participate in a massive amount of level grinding through less-than-stellar side quests. There’s plenty to do in this world, but a lot of it feels like busy work that fights to stay exciting or compelling. Odyssey is yet another open world game that misinterprets the meaning of more content.

So as the story unfolds, along with your map and you get into this gathering, parkouring and hunting rhythm here comes the main reason that has me rate Odyssey right up there with Origins. Next to Kassandra herself and animal taming, it’s the Naval component that really makes this Assassins Creed epic.

Odyssey makes great strides in its massive and dynamic world, and it's a joy to venture out and leave your mark on its ever-changing setting.
