L'anno è il 1989. Sono passati 12 anni dall'invasione della Terra da parte dell'esercito di Gogoh. L'esposizione alla tecnologia aliena durante la guerra ha permesso alle tecnologie terrestri di compiere enormi passi avanti. I conflitti internazionali, che in precedenza erano stati molto frequenti nella storia dell'umanità, sono scesi ai minimi storici e la Federazione Terrestre è stata istituita come governo terrestre unificato. Le premesse per un'era di prosperità senza precedenti erano state poste.

Armed Seven is a worthy genre piece. It is an easy recommend for any shmup fan out there, and though its short length may turn some off (it only has six levels), the brutal, merciless nature of the game, and the robust controls should be more than entertaining enough to encourage you to come back to try to master at least one combination of weapons.
How surprising, another indie game with a retro feel to it. Even though Armed Seven works fine, there is nothing fresh and new to experience while playing this 2D shooter. Too bad, cause through the pixels you can feel the love that the developer put into it.
In a world littered with indie games trying hard to be nostalgic and missing the mark, it is nice to play a game that truly captures that 16-bit experience.
